Prison ministry

When we serve, we change.

Good deeds move people towards, Jesus. When people are served and loved and experience good deeds, they are more open to hear the good news behind it!

Well, continuing on our theme of ‘Reaching the Unreached’ we propose to visit Auckland Prisons as part of our Outreach programme. It is purely a voluntary option, and volunteer forms are available with Vasanth Abraham (09 8351562).

Volunteer applications need to be vetted before approval and acceptance.
Any who are considering joining this ministry will be very welcome.
There is training provided, and it will be very valuable for those who are new to this ministry. The details are as below:

Windsor Park Baptist Church, Functions Room, 550 East Coast Road, Mairangi Bay, North Shore.
Date: Saturday, 12th April 2008
Start Time: 9.30am for Tea/Coffee (provided) and fellowship; The seminar will start at 10.00am
