Profile of the Speaker for the 1st day:

Pastor Alfie Orr was born and grew up in Northern Ireland. He is the second youngest in a family of eight. At the age of twelve the Lord called him to Himself and gave him the faith to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as His Savior and Lord.

After serving his apprenticeship as a carpenter he emigrated to New Zealand. Here he met his wife, Elsie, and they were married in 1970. Alfie and Elsie have four children and four grand children. The Lord called Alfie into the ministry thirty years ago. During those years, he has served the Lord in four Baptist churches; two in Northern Ireland and two in New Zealand.

His prayer is that God might use His Word at camp to bring blessing to God’s people, salvation to any who do not know the Savior and most of all glory to God.

Profile of the Speaker for the 2nd day

Howard Webb, a former lawyer, has been on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ in New Zealand (now Tandem Ministries) for 13 years. He spearheaded the ‘Gift to the Nation’ strategy which saw over 250,000 copies of the movie JESUS distributed to homes around New Zealand and is presently the national coordinator for ‘Love Your Neighbor’. He is married to Lynette and has three children Wesley (17) Dylan (16) and Catherine (10) and has lived in West Auckland since emigrating to New Zealand.

Love Your Neighbor Network is a joint partnership venture with 13 partner organizations including Tandem, Alpha, Bible College of NZ and Rhema Broadcasting Group working together to see every community across New Zealand adopted and befriended by a local church and blessed through a process of Prayer Care Share. We believe that engaging our communities with both Good Deeds and Good news is essential for health of our church and the transformation of our communities.

Please Note:
All boys, girls, men & women who are 14 years and over will attend the main session on Saturday and Sunday.
Children under 14 (The Little Bereans) will be handled by Nahomi Dhinakar and Elsie Orr in separate sessions.
